So, you know how you're supposed to learn from the mistakes of others? Well, I'm going to tell you about my new photoshop addiction so you can learn from it. :D Recently, a friend got me Photoshop CS3. I'm forever grateful for it (: but it has basically consumed my life. Yesterday, I came home and played around on it until 9 before finally realizing that I should probably get started on my homework. I now have over 100 brush sets for no reason (I realized that I download the most useless, ridiculous things--I now have a brush set with baby silhouettes) Someone needs to lock that program before I fail school :D So lesson for the day: Don't get Photoshop.
Anyways, I'm going to see Beauty and the Beast tonight to support my friend, who has one line in the musical :D. It should be a good show seeing as how all the shows have been sold out. Hmm...I haven't seen Beauty and the Beast since I was 7...I think. Which reminds me, I'm going to take next Saturday (my 1st free Saturday in months) to re watch Disney movies. (: I'm going to revisit the classics and FINALLY watch Mulan so I will no longer be ashamed to be the only Asian who hasn't watched Mulan. I'm also going to take next Saturday to do massive baking for States the follow week. According to Volpe, Adrianna Jensen bakes the BEST cupcakes and I just got the magic recipe from her :DDD I tried some and it seriously taste like it has weed in it...not that I would know what weed tastes like...:D but it was AMAZING.
Moving on. I'm currently reading Freakonomics by Steven Levitt, and it's really interesting (: I would highly recommend it to all of you because it's definitely a book that makes you think. AND it's not that boring even though it's about Economics. For example, in the introduction it gives you this situation:
IN the 1990s, experts realized that there had been a rapid increase in crime--especially among teenagers. The forecast was grim about the future of teen violence and President Clinton even made it a priority in his administration. Experts estimated that crime rates will increase well into the 21st century even doubling by 2000. However, when the 21st century arrived, crime rates started to fall rapidly, with no particular reason. It was ubiquitous, with every category of crime falling in every part of the country and persisted year after year. Some experts hurried to explain this drop by attributing it to the roaring 1990s economy but that wasn't the reason. So, I will pose this question to you guys, why did the crime rates decline dramatically in the 21st century?

Aww I wished I didn't have quals today so I could stay up until 1 ):

Photoshop is soooo addicting :P but then again, maybe it's just me.

Beauty and the Beast was really good when it came to the scenes and special effects but the singing was average...which was disappointing =/

:P I can't wait until next Saturday yayyyy! Haha, you're going to be so bored sitting there with only 2 rounds :D Call me up when you're bored and I'll rave about my relaxing day to make you jealous. :P

I will definitely save you a crack induced cupcake. Just kidding :D

I just started so it might start getting boring half way through haha and I guess you know the answer to my question because you've read it :/

Tribute
This is a tribute to my amazing parents, who often say things that make my day.

Texts

From Dad after I forgot to text/call for a day: "Lost and find connie yuan. Female. 17. Last time found at wei yuan house. Since then, we lost contact"

From Mom: "How are you going today. We miss you. Dad said your group was wired. Connie maybe was kidnapped. You know your dad himself is wired. Mom. [I think she meant "weird" [: This was after my dad dropped me off at camp and saw the mob and was freaked out.]

From Mom after I forgot to text again (oops): "Bad pang pang [fatty--my parents' nickname for me]. You lost again."
