So last night I finally finished reading Romans (Yes...I went on without you Jon because you're a slacker). Anyways, it's interesting because there were a lot on my mind and I was fighting with a problem I was having. So before I started reading I prayed that this issue could be resolved and while I was reading Romans, verses began to jump out and impact me. For the first time, I genuinely felt like I was having a conversation with God through the Bible and it was pretty amazing. This also reinforces my goal to continue reading the Bible every day.
Anyways, today we went to the Family Christian Store because my mom had to pick up a gift for some lady at church who's getting baptized on Easter Sunday. While I was there, I found an interesting book called
Extreme Answers to Life's Tough Questions and it's a really good book. It basically goes through every issue imaginable (ex: Anger, Repentance, Responsibility, Abortion, Rape, Music, Parents, and even Euthanasia) and presents what the Bible states about common questions regarding these issues. (there are hundreds in the book) Not only does it present how God answers these questions but also gives support through many verses. [: I'm currently in the process of going through the book and have already learned a lot. It's quite enlightening.
Well in other news, I found the cutest J Prom dress. :D It's hot pink and I know that Asians don't usually look good in pink but I don't care because I couldn't pass it up. Spring Break is going well so far...nothing exciting but still a great break from school.
