I know this is really nerdy but...

WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW EXCITED I AM THAT THE G20 SUMMIT WILL BE HELD IN PITTSBURGH. [:

Now the question is...how can I get in? :p

Don't make fun of my song choice [: It's actually rather good. I had the epiphany that I liked jazz music while doing my APUSH project. Who knew you could actually learn about yourself while doing school work? :p

CFLs was a lot of fun but it also means that I'm basically sleep deprived. I can barely keep my eyes open as of now...and it's been four days since I've been back. This is what happens when you're addicted to sleep. Don't be like me :]

While CFLs have been fun I'm currently panicking because the Yans might have the swine flu and...I roomed with them. I don't care about dying because the swine flu isn't that serious. You're not going to die. I just don't want to get sick before summer starts ]: That would be pretty terrible. Oh and I also have SAT subject tests to take next weekend and I don't want to miss those.

I've taken a lot of "how well do you know me?" quizzes on facebook and it's pretty interesting because I'm actually learning a lot from them. I think I'll have one up soon and you should all take it [:

The school year is almost over and I'm actually still working (what a surprise). I don't want to think about next year with AP classes and college apps so I'm going to only think about the summer :D I'm pretty excited about the summer because I'm not going to be stuck at home doing SAT work (like last summer). I don't think I'll be doing any legit work at all except reading the AP English 4 summer requirements. But other than that, I'll be stress free. Haha I don't know how that feels anymore. Sometimes I wish I'm a senior so I can skip the entire senior year experience. :p

Life is pretty amazing right now for a couple of reasons one being that AP tests are finally over. [: From seeing how long it took for me to prepare for AP tests, I've realized that my memory is terrible. I had to relearn 400 year of US history and teach myself Physics in a week. It was FUN. So note to future Connie: don't procrastinate because you'll regret it. I pushed AP tests down my priority list because of CCA and Chemathon and I had to work my butt off for 2 weeks straight. Well anyways, learn from my mistake (:

After AP tests are over, my work ethic has declined to nothingness. I have done little homework this past weekend and haven't prepared for my Calc final tomorrow. (I'll do that after posting this) It doesn't help that my parents constantly tell me to relax after testing and encourages me to play guitar hero/get on the computer. Of course I needed no encouragement :p I've come up with lists of things to do with my free time...none of which includes anything school related.

Sometimes I wish school started sooner and ended sooner ]: The kids in Alabama are approaching the end of the school year and I'm insanely jealous. I still have to do 4 more weeks of work while they get off...next week? In my mind, summer has already started :D It's terrible.

Okay. Enough about AP testing and school. This year has been pretty amazing in general. I've met some amazing people (: WHICH reminds me. I need to reupdate my circle of trust and create a hierarchy of trust. :D Sounds scary. I'll do that after posting this...

On another note, there are also certain other people I would like to kick out of my life. Maybe I'll expand on this later...maybe [:

I haven't posted a lot this past month...that will definitely change. Sorry! I hate that school took over my life for that period of time but it's over now (:

Today I told Volpe that I had a problem (I was referring to my grade)
She responds with a "I know, honey. You CAN'T be that weird."

Thanks, Volpe.

Sorry I haven't posted in a really long time. I've been preoccupied with AP stress. [: I promise to update with a longer post soon.

Tribute
This is a tribute to my amazing parents, who often say things that make my day.

Texts

From Dad after I forgot to text/call for a day: "Lost and find connie yuan. Female. 17. Last time found at wei yuan house. Since then, we lost contact"

From Mom: "How are you going today. We miss you. Dad said your group was wired. Connie maybe was kidnapped. You know your dad himself is wired. Mom. [I think she meant "weird" [: This was after my dad dropped me off at camp and saw the mob and was freaked out.]

From Mom after I forgot to text again (oops): "Bad pang pang [fatty--my parents' nickname for me]. You lost again."
