It's finally summer! Yay

So some news first. Cindy got her job as a donut seller, which made her pretty excited. [: My mom decided to tell Cindy to bring home some "whole-wheat donuts"...I'm pretty sure they don't make those. I think she meant bagels, which brings me to my next question: how do you tell your mom the difference between bagels and donuts? One's sweeter? But they make those cranberry bagels D: dilemma.

I also got into the Northwestern speech camp so I'll be doing that for 10 days this summer [: I'm pretty excited. It'll be a new experience because I'm going to have to fly there by myself and then somehow find a way to get from the airport to the campus. Should be fun...I'll probably get lost :D My dad's trying to convince me to let him drive me but I don't really want to sit in a car for that long D: In his mind, I'm still 6 years old. Yesterday, to prepare me for the trip, he told me not to get into cars with strangers because it's dangerous. :p Okay dad...I definitely didn't know that.

I need to learn Chinese this summer D: My reading's not so good...

I went shopping today [: It was a lot of fun. I bought shirts with ruffles...I like ruffles.

Donut seller? Haha. Where? I'd say that bagels are tougher to chew, and donuts are less dense. :)

Heyy, I have to fly to Minnesota by myself too, so we can experience flying solo for the first time together!

My Chinese sucks too. I forgets it all. D:

Oooo. Haven't gone shopping for a while. I'm gonna have to do that sometime. :)

Melissa- Wahh apparently minors can't fly by themselves? I book my ticket as an adult though...shhh. :D It'll be a blast.

From Dad after I forgot to text/call for a day: "Lost and find connie yuan. Female. 17. Last time found at wei yuan house. Since then, we lost contact"

From Mom: "How are you going today. We miss you. Dad said your group was wired. Connie maybe was kidnapped. You know your dad himself is wired. Mom. [I think she meant "weird" [: This was after my dad dropped me off at camp and saw the mob and was freaked out.]

From Mom after I forgot to text again (oops): "Bad pang pang [fatty--my parents' nickname for me]. You lost again."
