Ahhh it's bad that I'm not posting often anymore. Well anyways, this weekend was very busy [: I worked on Friday from 4-10, which is actually one hour less than how long I usually work because this other guy was working with us that day, so there wasn't much to do. But I'm really glad because I had to wake up at 7 the next day for the first Congress of the season, and I didn't want to go to that with only 7 hours of sleep (which is how much I would have gotten if I worked from 4-11:15) Anyways, I served a Steelers player, Ziggy Hood, on Friday, and I didn't even know he was a football player :D Surprise, surprise Connie doesn't know what each player looks like. So I thought he was just another random customer until my manager told me. Even though it was exciting serving a Steelers player, the next part wasn't so great. My manager decided to give him the order for free, because he comes in all the time to buy doughnuts for practices. It's almost ironic. A couple of weeks ago, a homeless man came in while Cindy was working to buy a doughnut (99 cents) and pulled out all of his coins. He had only 80 cents, but the supervisor decided to let him have the doughnut for that much. I still question why that doughnut wasn't given to him free of charge, since it probably cost him every last penny he had, and at Krispy Kreme, we hand out free doughnuts like water. (Just the other day, the supervisors decided to order some pizza and paid the delivery guy with boxes of doughnuts) It's ironic because we're handing out free doughnuts to someone who's probably making millions a year, but yet we charge the man who's making nothing? There's something wrong with that scenario. So that's what I thought about while a Steelers player was standing in Krispy Kreme xD

Anyways, on Saturday I went to the first Congress at NH. I thought it would be a great opportunity to rediscover an interest in going to Congress--I was wrong. The session was really boring xD But I did get to see my favorite person so it was worth it [:

Then, I came home and did some homework until Cindy came home and decided that we should submit our early app. So Saturday night was fairly busy...

Today, I went to church, which isn't so fun anymore because all the older kids left. ): I sat in the library and ate my lunch while listening to the little kids freak out about boy crushes. -sigh-

Haha, I laughed out loud at your comment about little kids talking about their boy crushes. XDD I immediately got an image of Annemarie, Susie, and all those people. :P I guess it must suck for you guys to be the oldest now... there's like no juniors except for Sam, and there's like 2 sophomores, right? Wow, that really does suck... =/

Oh wow, I forgot to comment on the rest of your post.

That's really ridiculous... I could go to Krispy Kreme with my report card and get free donuts. x.x (Heyy, no fair that I only get 4 donuts because I only have 4 classes at a time because of block schedule. :[)

THEY SHOULDA GIVEN THAT HOMELESS MAN A FREE DONUT UPON SIGHTING HIM. It's not like the donut's worth a dollar anyways. Do an act of charity, seriously.

I never knew you worked at Krispy Kreme!

Melissa- haha that's basically how it is! Ahhh I'm dying :p I only have Sam to hang out with now. It's not a good position to be in.

Al- You should totally come visit! I'll give you a free doughnut.

Tribute
This is a tribute to my amazing parents, who often say things that make my day.

Texts

From Dad after I forgot to text/call for a day: "Lost and find connie yuan. Female. 17. Last time found at wei yuan house. Since then, we lost contact"

From Mom: "How are you going today. We miss you. Dad said your group was wired. Connie maybe was kidnapped. You know your dad himself is wired. Mom. [I think she meant "weird" [: This was after my dad dropped me off at camp and saw the mob and was freaked out.]

From Mom after I forgot to text again (oops): "Bad pang pang [fatty--my parents' nickname for me]. You lost again."
