Hello blog! After reading a bunch of people's blog, I've been inspired to update again. Although, watching everyone use tumblr makes me feel like a first generation ipod. Anyways, since it's not late or anything this post will just be an update of life. Er...maybe not an update because I can't describe everything that has happened in since I last posted in June. Sooo...I've been reading quite a lot which I'm happy about since I never get a chance to! Currently I'm reading
An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore. I know I know don't judge. It's actually surprisingly insightful since he backs up everything with research and statistics. However he does use it at times to play up his reputation--painting himself as a hardcore environmentalist. I guess the thing that was most disturbing was the fact that he compared his fear of global warming to his fear when his son got hit by a car.

...
WHAT?
He also phrased it in the cheesiest way talking about how he understands the sense of urgency because of his son and then goes on to describe in full detail exactly what happened that day. Al Gore is a cheeseball.
I've also been scheduling classes for next year and lemme tell you. It is quite stressful fitting in recitations and making sure you get time to walk to each class. But pretty fun [: I get to take fun courses like intro to experimental psychology (used to fulfill my last science general ed credit).
Ahhh Nat King Cole just played on shuffle. Blehhh he is also a cheeseball.
I'm eating a lot of oreos. Thank you Nathan Pack.
I have a girls' group tomorrow at 7:30 [: So excited. I really like reading James.
This is the part where I get lazy and stop blogging :p Blame Al Gore for taking so long.

I realized that I haven't updated in a while! This post will be short though because I'm waiting for a phone call from an advisor at Penn at 11:30 pm. Yup. That's how Penn rolls. Anyways, I'll explain about this advising thing. As part of Wharton we're each assigned to a cohort (there are 8) and the cohort is basically a smaller group of students and each cohort has 60 freshmen and a bunch of upperclassmen. Each cohort is named after a different coin denomination and mine is shekel! Which I didn't find out until several weeks ago that it existed. Haha I need to brush up on my knowledge. Although it would have been cooler if I was in cohort Yuan :p Anyways there's a director in the Cohort who is in charge of calling all the freshmen to talk about questions and how Penn works but this guy is apparently being a camp counselor for 9 weeks this summer and can only call after 10 so we have to talk to him late. It's kinda weird talking to a stranger so late at night. Actually this happened July 8. And I'm only posting about it now because it has been sitting in my draft box. So I don't really remember what else I was supposed to post. I'll write a new post soon!
